This is the singers’ first album in nearly four years and comes after 2002′s “Stripped.” The album would be a throwback to the jazz, soul and blues from the 1920s, ’30s and ’40s, according to the singer. “This is a concept album that follows a bold, set vision,” said Aguilera. “The touchstones are Billie Holiday, Otis Redding, Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald… what I used to call my ‘fun music’ when I was a little girl.” The record label Sony BMG claims that the album is “wildly inventive with a throwback style.” The first single in the album is called “Ain’t No Other Man” and is to be released on June 12. Aguilera will also perform the single at the MTV Movie Awards four days before the release. Some of the other tracks in the album include “Save Me From Myself,” which is dedicated to the “Beautiful” singer’s husband Jordan Bratman. Other tracks are “Candy Man,” “I Got Trouble,” “Thank You” and “Still Dirrty.” The singer said that Thank You was dedicated to her fans. Although out of limelight for the last four years, Aguilera remains dedicated to the fight against AIDS and has predicated in the “What’s Going On?” cover project for AIDS Project Los Angeles’ Artists Against AIDS.
