“I will never forget this moment because, in this moment, everthing I have ever wanted has just happened to me,” said Swift after accepting her final trophy, adding a joke at Kanye West’s expense:

“I want to thank every single person in this room tonight for not running onstage during this speech.”

After the event, Swift – who became the youngest Entertainer of the Year in history – said:

“I never imagined that the unattainable thing that I dreamed about could happen to me at 19. It’s a lot to absorb. So now the next challenge is to find the next challenge.”

“But there’s nothing more to say/because everything’s okay/I’ve got security lining the stage.”

Then Swift joked: “We have a great show. Kanye West is not here!”

In the same song the star also referenced her break-up with Jonas Brothers star Joe and bragged that she’s doing well without him.

She sang: “You might think I’d bring up Joe Jonas, that guy who broke up with me on the phone / But I’m not gonna mention him in my monologue.

“Hey Joe, I’m doing real well. Tonight, I’m hosting SNL. / But I’m not gonna brag about that in my monologue.”

Other actors/singers scheduled to appear on SNL in the weeks to come include January Jones (Mad Men) and the Black Eyed Peas on November 14 and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (500 Days of Summer) and the Dave Matthews Band on November 21.

The young couple met on the set of Valentine’s Day, a 2010 romantic comedy directed by Garry Marshall.

This included shows in Newark, Philadelphia, Houston, Detroit, Washington DC, Dallas, Kansas City, Austin and Corpus Christi.

In total, the Fearless 2010 tour is slated for 37 shows in 29 cities in the U.S. and Canada, as well as dates in Australia. Gloriana will open for the 19-year-old and Kellie Pickler is set to be a featured artist at the North American dates.

Swift recently received six nominations for the American Music Awards and is up for four honors at the upcoming CMA Awards. The singer is scheduled to host Saturday Night Live on November 7.

Taylor Swift revealed to MTV that the artist she would most like to collaborate with on her next album is not Miley Cyrus or the Jonas Brothers, but Jack White. The singer said recently, “He’s awesome.”

Taylor Swift told MTV News. “I love his style. I love his writing and I think he’s an amazing player too, so any kind of collaboration there would be really awesome.”

Muse and Taylor Swift have become the first artists confirmed to perform at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.

The British band will make their first US television appearance at the annual event, debuting new single ‘Uprising’ from their highly-anticipated album The Resistance.

Country star Swift, who served as a red carpet interviewer last year, has promised that fans can expect “theatrics” during her performance of an updated version of new single ‘You Belong With Me’.

“I think this year’s show will be unlike anything they’ve ever done! MTV has been so good to me. And I could not be more excited about this year’s VMAs,” she said.

Last year, when Taylor Swift attended her first VMAs, she did double duty as a Best New Artist nominee and the fashion correspondent for MTV News’ red-carpet preshow. At the 2009 VMAs, to be hosted again by Russell Brand on September 13, Swift will be one of the night’s big performers.

“I’m so excited that MTV and the VMAs have invited me to perform, because I think this year’s show will be unlike anything they’ve ever done!” she said of her debut on the VMA stage with an updated version of her new single, “You Belong With Me.”

“If I looked at every other girl in the entertainment industry as competition, my life would be really lonely,” she says. “I wouldn’t have some of the coolest friends that I’m so glad I’ve gotten to know over the last couple of years… It’s really awesome to get to hang out with those girls and to call them friends.”

She recently opened up about her love for the number 13 and has credited it with many of her successes in the last few years.

“The significance of the number 13 on my hand … I paint this on my hand before every show because 13 is my lucky number — for a lot of reasons,” she explained. “It’s really weird.”

Not only is it the day she was born on in December 1989, but over the years it has become so much more. “I was born on the 13th. I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. My first album went gold in 13 weeks. My first #1 song had a 13-second intro,” she said. “Every time I’ve won an award I’ve been seated in either the 13th seat, the 13th row, the 13th section or row M, which is the 13th letter.”

Some may chalk all of that up to coincidence, but Swift assures everyone that the number can only mean something fantastic will happen in her life. “Basically whenever a 13 comes up in my life, it’s a good thing.”
