Rihanna will team up with Chris Brown, Adele, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars, Kelly Clarkson, Jason Aldean and Nicki Minaj are also confirmed to perform live at the 54th annual awards show, which will be hosted by LL Cool J and take place in Los Angeles.

Adele will perform for the first time since throat surgery, Chris Brown will return for the first time since a career-derailing assault and Lady Antebellum will be back to present one year after winning five awards.

British pop star Adele, nominated for five Grammys, will be performing for the first time since undergoing throat surgery in November. She is nominated in several major categories, including Record of the Year for “Rolling in the Deep” and Album of the Year for “21.”

The soulful British singer, whose album “21″ has spawned massive hits like “Rolling in the Deep” and topped charts for 19 weeks, enters music industry’s biggest awards with six nominations, second only to rapper Kanye West with seven.

Tickets for the L.A. stop are on sale Feb. 13, and the album hits stores March 26. Any errant football players that stand in her way will surely be dispatched immediately. Full schedule at here.

The singer gave a soulful rendition of the National Anthem, hitting every note and remembering every word despite being “really nervous” prior to her all-star performance.

“Just finished rehearsing the anthem in Indy … wow, I’m actually really nervous about singing at the Super Bowl ha!” she wrote on her WhoSay account. “Here’s hoping I nail it and don’t screw it up!

The two-time Grammy winner, donning a fitted black dress, tackled the song after Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert’s performance of “America the Beautiful.”

After the game, the Texas native checked in with fans again, writing, “Guess what ….I’ve never been more nervous in my life than singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl tonight ….wow that was almost not fun I was so nervous! Fun night overall though! Thank you everybody for all of the nice things you’re saying about my performance! I really appreciate it

Performing in a glittery half-Giants, half-Patriots cropped jersey, and tiny shorts, Perry teased Tebow by dedicating her song “Peacock”—which includes the lyrics, “I wanna see your peacock, cock, cock, your peacock, cock”—to the NFL sensation. “This goes out to Tim Tebow,” she said, accompanying the ditty with a raunchy dance and suggestive moves with her microphone.

She even ended her live show Saturday night by “Tebowing.”

At her show, Perry also gave a shout-out to Super Bowl performer Madonna, saying “Who else is excited for Madonna?” She added Madge’s half-time show was, along with her own concert, the reason she was there.

Following the gig, Perry partied with pals in a VIP area at Victory Field, where, spies said she, “appeared to be having a really good time. She was smiling and laughing.”

Discussing the album’s social networking-ready title, he explained: “#willpower is just a reminder to myself of staying consistent with the dream – keeping the dream alive. It was all a dream when I was fifteen years old – 20 years later I managed to take the dream from an idea to physicality. So #willpower is uplifting songs, encouragement for those that need it”.

The Van Halen tour will presumably feature Eddie Van Halen, bassist Wolfgang Van Halen, drummer Alex Van Halen and David Lee Roth, who reunited with the group in 2006. Roth initially split from the group in 1985, with Sammy Hagar and Gary Cherone each spending time fronting Van Halen before its original singer returned.

Van Halen’s new album, their first with Roth since 1984, is rumored to be hitting stores sometime in early 2012. Roth previously reunited with his former bandmates for a world tour in 2007 and 2008, and the success of that outing paved the way for this more permanent reunion.

The Official Charts Company confirmed the new record of 3.4 million sales on Monday.

Winehouse’s album took five years to get to its present 3.3 million sales level, and its success was partly due to the further sales boost following her death in July.

Adele’s 21 has been on the top 10 since its release and has been on the chart for 45 weeks.

Madonna, who has sold more than 300 million records, will perform at halftime of the Super Bowl in Indianapolis. The NFL and NBC announced Sunday during the Detroit-New Orleans game that the Grammy Award-winning singer will highlight the show at Lucas Oil Stadium on Feb. 5.

Madonna, a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, will join such acts as Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Prince, U2, Paul McCartney, The Who and the Rolling Stones to perform during recent Super Bowls. She will collaborate with a team from Cirque du Soleil, choreographer Jamie King, and artists from Moment Factory.

The latest in a line of epic music videos, the enigmatic 14-minute clip, which Gaga herself directed and has said is autobiographical, will certainly leave fans talking, if not scratching their heads.

“It’s sort of like my past is an unfinished painting, and as the artist of that painting, I must fill in all the ugly holes and make it beautiful again,” the singer, 25, says in voiceover as she’s shown being wheeled through a medical facility on a gurney when the video starts.

A tearful Gaga eventually tells her nurse before she’s discharged from the hospital: “I’m gonna be a star. You know why? Because I have nothing left to lose.”
