Miley Cyrus' Tour Bus Crash

It was overturned on the Interstate 85 highway in Virginia. Miley was not on board at the time. The driver, William G. Douglas (53), was killed when the bus struck an embankment and flipped over. The cause of death was said to be a heart attack. Also a member of Miley’s production crew, Marty Zilio(48), was injured in the crash and treated at a local hospital. The rest of the passengers escaped the bus uninjured through a broken window.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

She says: “I’ve never seen it and nor will I ever,” Hannah Montana told Q92 reporter Nikolina over the weekend.

“I don’t believe in it. I don’t like vampires. … I don’t like the wolf that pops out of the screen when I’m watching my TV at night. I don’t like it. I don’t want anything to do with it. I don’t like the shirts. I don’t like any of it,”.

Mayer, who is a regular Twitter user, said he could understand Cyrus’s reason for leaving the website.

“She’s smart enough to realise there is some interference of the brain that she doesn’t want to deal with,” he told MTV.

“I think if you’re in Miley’s situation, it might take a little too much time to play goalie for your own heart and mind.”

Miley Cyrus was seen on the set on October 16, filming a scene in which she wears the same dress on a red carpet as Kim Cattrall’s character, Samantha Jones. According to reports that surfaced in September about the cameo, Samantha chooses the dress for the event in order to look “hot and young.”

MTV reports, the film is set to hit theaters in May 2010; Penélope Cruz and Liza Minnelli also have reported cameos in the flick. Back in September, when MTV News asked Cyrus about rumors of her appearance, she asked her publicist, “Can we talk about that?” She then replied by saying, “Ah, zipped tight.”

During a gig in Salt Lake City, Utah on Tuesday, Cyrus was forced to take a 15-minute break to seek medical attention backstage.

On Wednesday, the singer/actress took to her Twitter.com blog to ask fans to stay positive ahead of her gig in Omaha.

She wrote, “Keep your fingers crossed Omaha. I am not feeling to (sic) good this morning…”

But Cyrus’ sore throat has become so painful, she has had to cancel her upcoming gig “due to illness”.

The show has been rescheduled and will take place on October 13.

A rumor has it that Cyrus will be wearing the same dress to a red carpet event as resident Sex star Kim Catrall, who purchased the dress to “look young.” Cyrus is set to film her scene next month, and the film hits theaters next May.

In a message on her Facebook page, the singer told fans, “Breaking news! A sneak peek at the world premiere of Miley’s new music video for ‘Party in the U.S.A.’ will be airing this week during the live 3-night ‘Dancing With the Stars’ premiere! … More details to come.”

MTV News has confirmed the details of the sneak peek, which, according to Cyrus’ reps, will be an exclusive 90-second version of the video airing during the show Wednesday. The full-length video will be available online.

“Had my nightly cup of tea & now its time to go off into some crazy dreamland!” Cyrus wrote on Wednesday, September 9. “I hope I am dating Peter Pan again! That’s my favorite dream!”

The Hannah Montana star also expressed how happy she was before hitting the sack. “Going to sleep a very happy girl,” she said. “Life is really starting to fall into place.”

Minnelli will perform at a gay wedding, while producers are still trying to strike a deal with Sex fan Cyrus over her involvement in the movie.

An insider tells Life & Style magazine, “They’ve asked her, but she hasn’t confirmed. Right now, they’re just holding the space for her.”
But fans can count on Minnelli – she’ll sing as part of the celebrations behind a gay union between beloved characters Stanford Blatch and Anthony Marentino, played by Willie Garson and Mario Cantone.
The set insider says, “The scene is hilarious.”

The 16-year-old, her back-up dancers and live band hit Manhattan’s Rockefeller Center, causing hundreds of screaming girls to swarm the stage and Cyrus admits she was stunned at the turnout because she would only “camp overnight” to see a true rock ‘n’ roll legend, reports hollyscoop.com.

“It would have to be someone that I could never have the opportunity (to see) again, like an Elvis,” said Cyrus.

Cyrus has more modern music heroes too.

“Or Chris Martin – before I met him I would probably have done some crazy things,” she added.
