Kirsten Dunst says she’s “learned a lot” after checking into rehab earlier this year for depression and is now in a different place in her life.

“Everyone goes through a hard time in their life,” Dunst says in the October issue of Harper’s Bazaar. “They just don’t have to do it in front of tons of people and with our media the way it is. I did, and I’m lucky that I had the resources and the money to take care of myself.”

She adds: “Now, I’m great.”

Though she hesitates to go into details about her stint at Cirque Lodge, a rehabilitation center in Utah, Dunst says prior to going to rehab she was “enormously co-dependent.”

“I wasn’t taking care of myself emotionally. I wasn’t expressing my anger,” she says. “I was making nice all the time.”

Spider-Man’s Mary Jane made the decision to follow in the footsteps of Cirque patients such as Lindsay Lohan and Richie Sambora — after a week of wild parties at last month’s Sundance Film Festival. “She desperately needed help,” a source in Utah tells Star. “She seemed to be intoxicated when she checked in because she was acting really erratic. She was extremely emotional, constantly breaking down in tears.

“She not in a good place right now, but thankfully, she’s getting the help she needs.”

Unfortunately for Kirsten Dunst, the posh hotel is lacking proper security because thieves broke into the hotel–and her hotel room–and walked away with a $13,000 handbag, cell phone and ID cards, according to court records.

A surveillance camera showed the burglars leaving the hotel, according to the complaint filed in the case. It said they also got away with $2,500 in cash, credit cards, two digital cameras and an iPod music player.

Luckily for Kirsten Dunst, they already have one suspect, Jarrod Beinerman, 33, was being held on $50,000 bond after being arraigned in a Manhattan court this Wednesday on burglary and grand larceny charges

The Spider-Man 3 actress has been spending lots of time in the British capital with new boyfriend Johnny Borrell, since the pair began dating last month.

And now Dunst has shared her appreciation of the city’s 300-year-old pub in Covent Garden with her beloved mother, Inez.

She says, “I took my mom to the Lamb & Flag (in Covent Garden). It’s one of the oldest pubs.”

Dunst emerged from the Camden pub looking tipsy and dishevelled after she ditched the official after-party.

Earlier in the evening, Kirsten commented that she loved Borrell for being a geek, but also added that she would not leave the US for him.

“He’s a geek. I do like his accent,” the Daily Mail quoted Dunst, as saying.

When asked about her future plans with the Spider Man series, Dunst, who plays flame-haired Mary-Jane Watson, said that she would be a part of Spiderman 4 if the lead actor Tobey Maguire reprises his role.

“If Tobey is involved then I want to be – we have so much fun together,” she added.
