Sienna Miller made a splash at the U.K. launch party of her new movie G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra – she was left soaked after speeding down London’s River Thames on a boat.

The actress had planned to make a grand entrance as she arrived at the promotional event on Wednesday (22Jul09) onboard warship HMS Belfast on the docks of the British capital’s river.
But the unpredictable British weather dampened the affect of the glamorous stunt – and the Thames’ choppy waters left the star all wet.

And, to add insult to injury, the boat ferrying her to the launch had to make two attempts to dock.
Sienna Miller praised the extra layers she had added under her white shirt for saving her from any further embarrassment.
She told reporters, “Thank God I’ve got a skin-colored something underneath, otherwise I would be horribly regretting the white shirt… I’m soaking wet.”

Sienna Miller doubted she would be able to play a convincing villain in ‘GI Joe – The Rise of Cobra’ – because she couldn’t bring herself to fire a gun on the film set.

She said: “It was scary. I got taken away from the group! They said, ‘Sienna, you’re a villain in this film and you look like you’re terrified of the gun.’ And I said, ‘I am!’ We were shooting live ammunition that could kill someone.”

She reveals, “I actually am a golfer now. Not a very good one, but I am keen on it. I used to give my dad a hard time about being into golf, but now I completely understand it.”

On the promotional trail for new movie 21, the actress wore a black tailored jacket from the fashion line that Miller started with sister Savannah last year.

Perhaps taking inspiration from the Factory Girl star’s penchant for the layered look, Bosworth teamed the Calandra jacket with a Chloé beaded dress and Sergio Rossi black heels. She bizarrely also added paisley print leggings, which made the whole look appear busy and badly matched. Thick black tights would have proved far more flattering.

According to Sunday Mirror Sienna Miller has finally agreed to marry lover Rhys Ifans… at the third time of asking.

The couple are now excitedly planning a summer wedding.

Notting Hill star Rhys, 39, launched his marriage campaign in August when he sent Sienna a cryptic message in Welsh, which read: “Marry the Misfit.”

He proposed again in December at Sienna’s 26th birthday party by hiding a ring in a pile of presents.

And pals say this time Sienna – who has been dating Rhys for a year and calls him her soulmate – has agreed.

The loved-up pair, who share Sienna’s pad in Notting Hill, London, are now looking for a home in Oxford and a cottage in Wales.

The most stylish woman of 2007 is Russian model Natalia Vodianova, according to Harper’s.

Dame Helen Mirren is a regal fourth and singer Lily Allen is fifth.

‘The Devil Wears Prada’ actress Emily Blunt is sixth and the increasingly glamorous Harry Potter author JK Rowling is seventh.

Rapper Sean Combs has dismissed speculation he’s romancing actress Sienna Miller, despite being spotted flirting with the blonde beauty after Sunday’s (01Jul07) Concert for Diana.
The hip-hop star is currently dating model Kim Porter and is adamant his cosy chat with Miller at the lavish London after-party following his Wembley performance was innocent.
He says, “Yeah, we all hang out together but there’s no more to it than that.” Combs was recently spotted sneaking into the 25-year-old’s hotel at 9am after a night of clubbing in New York, but he insists, “I was being a gentleman and dropping her off.”
