Ken Paves is a celebrity hairstylist out of Beverly Hills (USA). She will reportedly shoot in India starting next week for her VH1 docu-series show “The Price of Beauty”.

In this show, Simpson will reportedly get some beauty pointers from Bollywood actress-model Neha Dhupia (Singh is Kinng), 29, who was quoted as saying: “I know for sure that Jessica will be draped in a saree.”

Hindu statesman Rajan Zed has urged Simpson to spend some time in an ashram (hermitage) while in India and explore Hinduism for solace, reinventing her, and to bring meaning to her life. Ashram stay might help bring Simpson tranquility, spirituality and serenity, Zed, who is president of Universal Society of Hinduism, added in a statement in Nevada (USA) today.

According to several online reports, Jessica Simpson and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo have split up. Tony Romo called it quits with Jessica Simpson the night before her 29th birthday.

“She is heartbroken,” says the source. “She loves Tony. But it’s been difficult lately. He’s busy with his career and she’s getting ready to shoot her show (The Price of Beauty). They decided to part ways.”

This isn’t the first break-up for the couple, who began dating in 2007.

Romo reportedly dumped Simpson last May, but was able to patch things up in time to attend sister Ashlee Simpson’s wedding a few days later.

The first source added that Simpson canceled her birthday party because of the split, but is doing “OK.”

In the wake of the split, Simpson has been hitting up her Twitter account, relaying news that she canceled her birthday party but revealing little else that would seem to suggest a split. “Barbie party didn’t happen, but I turned 29 and feel like I am on top of the world yelling I love getting older.”

She later tweeted, “The beat of a heart can make you realize the special rhythm of a person … just listen. I like the irregular beat; it send me to another place … Everyone needs to know that hope floats … grab the strings and pull it back to you.”

Jessica Simpson, who has repeatedly faced public scrutiny for her fluctuating weight, has reportedly visited TV networks to pitch a reality series titled “The Price of Beauty.”

The show will be based on society’s outlook of women’s bodies, Us Weekly reports in its upcoming issue.

Jessica Simpson, whose first attempt at reality television was with ex-husband Nick Lachey on MTV’s “Newlyweds,” will be working closely with the show.

The singer’s rep tells Us, “Jessica is indeed working on a new show, but network details have not been finalized at this time.”

Asked about her ex Nick Lachey she explains: “I have not spoken to him in years.” But asked if MTV show Newlyweds caused their break-up she said:

“In all honesty, I believe it did not affect our marriage… Because we enjoyed watching those episodes, and that will always be a time I cherish.”

The show also got Jess’ noticed by her current boyfriend Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.

She explained he had watched: “a couple episodes. He thought I was cute.”

On her weight being all over the tabloids:
It comes with what I do and I know that every day the media’s going to challenge me, is going to want to bring me down. But I feel like I’m at such a place that I own myself, and it’s authentic. I own that authentic part of myself, and none of those words are harsh enough to make me believe them. I can’t imagine saying some of the things people have said about me about anybody else.”

On whether Newlyweds caused the end of her marriage to Nick Lachey:
In all honesty, I believe it did not affect our marriage, Because we enjoyed watching those episodes, and that will always be a time I cherish. It made me understand what marriage is, what love is, what commitment is.”

On her relationship with Nick Lachey now:
I have not spoken to him in years.”

On if her new man Tony Romo has ever watched an episode of Newlyweds:
“A couple episodes. He thought I was cute.”

On media criticism:
When it comes to media criticism, that’s just something I have had to train myself—literally train myself—to ignore. Because I’m the one up there onstage, and I can feel the energy of the crowd. And I know when I did good. And I know when I did great. And there wasn’t one time on this tour when I felt like I butchered it. I mean, the way people make it sound, I should have never been singing in the first place.”

On her relationship with her father, Joe Simpson:
I can talk to my dad like he’s my manager, and put ‘Dad’ on the back burner. We’ve been doing it since I was 13. So, at this point, we’re in a good rhythm. A lot of people find it strange, but it’s the only way I know. And I don’t care to know another way, because it suits me. And we’ve done a pretty dang good job.”

On her faith:
I’m spiritual. I live off the faith that has been instilled in me, that has never left. I’ve never let a stumbling block actually make me fall…. We all go through trials, but not one thing has ever made me question God. I have a great relationship with God. I can talk to him, get mad at him, frustrated with him. But, ultimately, my faith is what defines me.”

The June 2009 issue of Vanity Fair hits stands in New York and Los Angeles on May 6 and nationwide, May 12.

Women who are in abusive relationships should “run so far away,” Jessica Simpson advised at a concert in Phoenix Thursday.

In love, we all go through a lot of things, and a lot of things unfortunately make us stay there [in the relationship],” she told the crowd at the Cricket Wireless Pavilion. “No matter what you go through in life, no matter what abuse you go through, take your heart and run so far away.”

Simpson spoke more on relationship issues before singing “Still Don’t Stop Me,” which she said she wrote about “a guy that I couldn’t get over.”

“After I wrote that song, I was mad at myself for being so weak, and I got over that guy!” added the singer, who was wed to Nick Lachey and went on to date John Mayer.

Although Simpson has never named names, she admitted last year that she had been in an abusive relationship.

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback fell in the shower following a defeat by the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, reports ESPN.com.
Team sources tell the website medical staff brought a stretcher to the scene, but Romo walked on his own and had to be helped to the podium for a news conference shortly after the game – where he refused to answer questions about his health.
