Asked if he sees Nahla going pro in the future, Aubry said, “Well, let’s just wait [and see].”

Halle Berry has credited motherhood with helping her land the title of Sexiest Woman Alive.

The Oscar winner was handed the award by men’s style magazine Esquire last year (08) and was initially baffled by the honor.

But she’s now convinced it is being a mother to 16-month-old Nahla that has made her more alluring to the opposite sex.

Halle Berry says, “I think those things are kind of silly because nobody is the sexiest anything, so I asked them to let me write my own article to poke fun at the label.
“What I thought was interesting about them choosing me was that I had just had a baby, so it was all about saying that motherhood can be sexy – that was the important thing.
“I do feel sexier because I’m now more in line with my purpose for being on the planet. When you feel empowered, to me that’s sexy.”

Halle Berry says her previous bad experiences made her vow never to walk down the aisle again.

She has a 15-month-old daughter, Nahla, with model Gabriel Aubry.

“I’m much clearer about what a relationship is, which is why I will never marry again. Gabriel and I have a great partnership and a lovely daughter. But in a previous relationship I used to say that I am going to be with this person for ever, but this never worked out”, femalefirst.co.uk quoted Halle Berry as saying.

“Gabriel and I don’t look at our relationship in terms of for ever, we look at it as right here today. And today means being the best people we can be, the best parents we can be. It’s wonderful, but neither one of us feels the need to attach ourselves to each other for life. So there is no need to walk down the aisle,” she added.

The “Monster’s Ball” actress is in talks to star in the thriller for 20th Century Fox.

The move follows Paul Verhoeven’s boarding to develop and direct the thriller, which Ralph Winter is producing along with Deborah Giarratana, Robin Guthrie and Susana Zepeda.

Based on the 2004 book by Kathryn Mackel, the story centers on a couple desperate to have a child who find themselves in an unbearable position when they find out the surrogate they hired to carry their baby is insane.

Halle Berry is interested in the part and Fox is keen to have her do it, though official dealmaking has yet to begin.

She would play the wife who wants to have the child.

According to Singersroom, Halle Berry will star in and produce psychological drama “Frankie and Alice” for indie shingle Access Motion Pictures in association with Reality Pictures in Motion.

Story follows a young woman struggling with multiple personality disorder and torn between who she is and a racist Caucasian alter-personality that preys upon her mind. No production start date has been set.

She may be their only child for now, but Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry’s daughter, Nahla Ariela, will be getting a brother or sister – if the proud papa gets his way.

“She needs a sibling,” Aubry told People magazine at Monday’s Callaway Golf Foundation Challenge at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif., to benefit the Entertainment Industry Foundation. “I think it’s important.”

“I’ve never known anybody who’s had a single child [and] I’ve always been around big families,” adds Aubry, who comes from a family of eight children. “I believe in big families.”

The Catwoman actress, Halle Berry, 42, began “frantically screaming” when her dress got caught in an escalator on her way to a ball for Barack Obama on Tuesday, according to a new report.

A source says, “Halle was on her way to the ball, but she was looking lost and confused in the crowd of people. She stepped onto the escalator and the long train of her dress got caught, causing a scene of panic.

“She began frantically screaming and security had to hit the emergency brake.”

The X-Men star eventually managed to release her dress and make her way to the celebrations.

Aubry tells Usmagazine.com: “Yeah, we are working on that. … I mean, look at her (Berry) — she is unbelievable! She is the best mom that anybody could ask for — or wish for.”

Echoing Berry’s denial the pair has made plans to wed, he adds: “We have no plans for marriage. We are more married than ever, really.”

Halle Berry may be a mommy of a certain age, but the men’s magazine Esquire says the Oscar-winning actress is still the Sexiest Woman Alive.

In an article posted on Tuesday on the magazine’s website (www.esquire.com), Berry poses in a parody of a 2000 cover photograph of former U.S. President Bill Clinton, and writes about what she thinks of winning Esquire’s annual honor for the first time.

“Well, I don’t know exactly what it means but being 42 and having just had a baby, I think I’ll take it,” Berry wrote.

Esquire said it dressed Berry in a racier version of Clinton’s suit jacket and blue tie to recreate an iconic cover for its 75th anniversary celebration.

Berry starred last year in the movie “Things We Lost in the Fire” and is due to star next year in “Frankie and Alice,” a film about a woman with multiple personality disorder.

In the Esquire article, Berry describes things she finds sexy. It turns out that spaghetti and wine are major turn-ons.

“Sexy is not about wearing sexy clothes or shaking your booty until you damn near get hip dysplasia; it’s about knowing that sexiness is a state of mind — a comfortable state of being,” she said.

Halle Berry: I feel like we remember Marilyn Monroe and Ava Gardner and Grace Kelly. And Dorothy Dandridge was right on a par with them. But she was a black woman trying to make it in an industry where there was no place for her. I think I’ve always felt that way. I’ve tried to carve out my own niche, because there was no one before me who went as far as I was dreaming of going.

ELLE: In Things We Lost in the Fire, you play a black woman married to a white man and nothing is made of that. For a woman of color in Hollywood, is that progress?
Halle Berry: Absolutely. And that part was very normal for me, being raised by a white mother. Only when I got to junior high did it become something I had to defend or explain or even think about. Now with a black man running for president, I think we’re moving toward this great racial divide becoming a thing of the past. If I don’t fully experience that in my lifetime, I really believe my daughter will.
