Perez Hilton made headlines yesterday for claiming Will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas attacked him. Turns out it actually wasn’t Will.i.am, but his manager. Although his manager already turned himself in as the attacker, Perez is still slamming him to the world.

The argument originally started when Fergie approached Perez asking him why he was slamming the Black Eyed Peas new
album, and it escalated from there.

Fergie has an army of supporters and fans, including her mother Terri Jackson, who are standing by her side and are even convinced “she could have taken him down.”

Fergie’s mother talked to Hollyscoop.com at the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie premiere in Los Angeles Monday night about the feud and what they really think about Perez.

“Thank God it wasn’t Fergie,” Terri told Hollyscoop.com, “I think she could have taken him out,” she joked.

When asked what she thought about Perez and his comments about celebrities, Fergie’s sister Dana Ferguson told us, “Perez always seems to have his opinion on everything and it seems to clash with a lot of people, and I think he does that on purpose sometimes and sometimes he’s gonna get some backlash.”

Fergie’s father Pat Ferguson was so upset with him he told us, “You don’t want my opinion on Perez Hilton.”

The Black Eyed Peas star Stacy ‘Fergie’ Ferguson is in talks to star in ‘Nine’, the new musical from ‘Chicago’ director Rob Marshall.

Variety reports that if she signs up for the film she will join an all-star cast of Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman, Sophia Loren and Judi Dench.

Shooting on the film will begin in October in the UK.

Fergie, Kate Moss, Jerry Hall, and Naomi Campbell are surprise neighbours – on the pages of a glitzy metre-high book by Britain’s queen of shock fashion.

Vivienne Westwood, 66 – who introduced punk ideas to the fashion world – has dressed the celebs in some of her most striking creations and features them among 50 friends and family.

Mirror fashion writer Dinah Turner said: “Westwood is the most influential woman in fashion styling everyone from rock stars to royalty.

“Her risque designs are instantly recognisable and her eccentricity is a vital, vibrant part of the industry.”

Fergie is engaged to her boyfriend, actor Josh Duhamel, reps for both stars confirm to Usmagazine.com.

The pair, which Us has learned is currently vacationing near Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, were recently photographed looking at a ranch in California that is often rented for weddings. The engagement news was first reported by TMZ.

The 32-year-old “Glamourous” singer (also the lead vocalist for the Black Eyed Peas) has been dating
the star of NBC’s Las Vegas, 35, for three years.

“We’re still decorating our house, so I go shopping in the different countries [on my tour] and ship things home, and we open all the boxes together,” Fergie said.

Fergie and Duhamel share a $5 million pad in Los Angeles. She told, “We go running around the house like little kids, putting things in different places!”

Rihanna performed the single at the awards ceremony, as well as dueting with rock act Fall Out Boy.

Justin Timberlake took home four statuettes, including male artist of the year.

Along with R&B singer Beyonce, he led the field with seven nominations. Beyonce won a single award – most earth-shattering collaboration – for her duet with Colombian pop singer Shakira on the tune Beautiful Liar.

Hip-hop singer Kanye West went home empty-handed after receiving five nominations. He was also not thrilled that Spears took the plum opening slot.

“I can’t believe she would perform. She hasn’t had a hit record in years,” the outspoken hip-hop star improvised during a performance the night before.

MTV brought the show to Las Vegas for the first time, hoping to reverse a sharp slide in viewership for its awards bash.

Last year’s ceremony in New York drew 5.8 million viewers, down from 8 million in 2005 and 10.3 million in 2004, according to Nielsen Media Research.

By contrast, the Grammys drew more than 20 million viewers in February.
