The Harry Potter beauty, arrived at the Ivy League college last week and, after a few days settling in, blogged on her Web site about her new life on the Rhode Island campus.

“I’ve finally arrived at Brown University and I’m having the most amazing time,” she says. “I’m still so excited to be here; I’ve already met so many incredible people.”

Emma Watson is in talks with London based Fairtrade partner People Tree to launch a teenage clothing line later this year, reports UK’s Daily Mail.

The Harry Potter star, wants the range to have a ‘casual rock feel’ and is planning a promotional photo shoot this month with model Tafari Hinds.

Emma Watson, who has studiously cultivated an image of a style icon, sees fashion as an extension of art, which she studied in school.

“I’ve been focusing on art a lot, and fashion’s a great extension of that,” she says.

“Acting is always going to take priority, but she’s keen to branch out,” says a source.

The 19-year-old British actress, Emma Watson, showed off more than she’d intended when her dress parted at the London premiere of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” on Tuesday.

But when television host David Letterman pointed out the faux-pas on “The Late Show,” a blushing Emma replied: “This was a small wardrobe malfunction that happens.

“At least I’m wearing underwear,” the 19-year-old star added, before hanging her head in her hands to say she’s “still learning” this stuff.

Speaking on BBC’s Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, Emma Watson said kissing Rupert in the final film of the series was just about the most uncomfortable filming experience of her career so far.

“We did the kiss two weeks ago and it was the most horrible thing I’ve ever had to do,” Emma said. “There are millions of girls out there who would probably chop their left arm off to kiss [Rupert], but it just felt like incest. That’s the only way I can describe it.”

“It was fine that I was actually kissing him because I had my eyes closed so I could not think about the fact that it was him. The worst bit is when we had to open our eyes and look at each other because then I was just like, [laughter] and then we couldn’t keep going. But we did it in the end. Six takes — not bad. It could be worse.”

Rupert, echoed similar sentiments last week.

“We’ve known each other for 10 years so it was a bit like kissing my sister,”.

Emma Watson was cast for Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in 1999, as a nine year old.

The campaign breaks in the August issues of magazines including Vanity Fair, Vogue, British Vogue and Tatler.

Emma Watson recently posted a new update message on her official webpage in which she discusses coming to terms with the fact that her run with the “Harry Potter” movie series is coming to an end.

She writes, “I realized that in 2 weeks time I will be halfway through filming my part in the Deathly Hallows. I can’t believe how quickly it is all going now that we are at the end. I think I might have to start asking people to sign a Harry Potter book for me. I have never asked anyone for an autograph before but maybe I will regret it if I don’t.”

The Harry Potter star – Emma Watson – told the Daily Express newspaper: “I find the whole idea of being ‘sexy’ embarrassing and confusing. I’d never go out in a mini-skirt. What’s sexy about saying: ‘I’m here with my boobs out and a short skirt, have a look at everything I’ve got? My idea of sexy is that less is more.”

Emma, who has just been cast as Napoleon’s love interest in an upcoming film about his time in exile after Scarlett Johansson was forced to pull out, said of life after Harry: “It’s important that I take on other roles, just generally, because otherwise people will think of me as Hermione for the rest of my life.

“I won’t know what to do when it ends. It will be the weirdest thing ever but I’m excited about finishing it because it frees my time to do other projects.”

The Harry Potter star is keen to gain a degree and has applied to a number of colleges, both in the U.K. and America, to start her studies this year (09), while continuing her role in the wizard film franchise.

And the 18-year-old hopes to emulate Portman’s academic success – she achieved a degree in psychology at Harvard College while she was working on the Star Wars films.
Watson tells Britain’s Daily Express, “I actually think going to university will make me a better actress. Look at Jodie Foster, Natalie Portman, Meryl Streep – they all educated themselves. It’s really important.”

Streep won a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Drama at Vassar College, New York in 1971, while Foster earned a B.A. in literature and graduated from Yale University, Connecticut in 1985.

Emma Watson feels sorry for superstars such as Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, because she loves living “a normal life.”

She says, “I have a more normal life than people expect. When I take public transport, people are like, ‘That girl looks like the girl from ‘Harry Potter,’ but it can’t be her on the train’. I get stopped by people, but that’s fine.

I’d never want to be so famous that I couldn’t live a normal life to a certain extent.”

The ‘Harry Potter’ star, Emma Watson, continued to wow last night in a stunning Alexander McQueen dress at the National Movie Awards 2008 at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Monday .

The dress, a beautiful victoria-style white gown with jewel encrusted bust made Emma, 18, look wise beyond her fashion years.

And her dress clearly thrilled the fans, as she stopped to pose for photographs and chat on the red carpet, before heading inside at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
