Rocker Dave Navarro and actress Carmen Electra’s divorce was officially finalised yesterday (20Feb07). Navarro, 39, and Electra, 34, announced in July (06) they were amicably separating after less than three years of marriage. The couple wed on 22 November 2003 and have no children.
According to American publication People, their marital status was terminated on Tuesday (20Feb07) and all of their personal belongings have been divided as previously stipulated in a prenuptial agreement. Electra also requested, as specified in their prenup, that the court not award spousal support to either party. Legal papers filed by Electra in Los Angeles Superior Court last August (06) cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. This was the second marriage for Electra, who wed US National Basketball League star DENNIS RODMAN in Las Vegas in 1998 and divorced five months later.

Of her amicable separation from her husband of nearly three years, the actress says, “We talk every day. We’re still really good friends. … We’re positive, and we’ve stayed connected. It’s OK.”

Arriving at the awards show dressed in Roberto Cavalli and Neil Lane, Carmen Electra said she’s open to the idea of dating right now, as long as it isn’t forced. “It should naturally happen,” she says. “It’s really cute because everyone’s constantly trying to pair me up with someone, but it has to happen naturally.”
