The 24-year old actress seemed to have lost her trademark curves and looked extremely skinny in a blood red Armani gown with a plunging neckline at the event in LA, fuelling rumours that she has a weight problem.

Megan showed plenty of cleavage in the red frock but onlookers could not help but notice Fox’s gaunt looking appearance.

The X Factor judge will represent the brand in the UK – and her first campaign will be promoting a hair product called Elvive Full Restore 5, which will hit the shops next month.

Cheryl Cole, 26, who won a place in Girls Aloud by appearing on Popstars: The Rivals, graced the cover of British Vogue in February.

She said: “I have always loved the brand and have always wanted to say the iconic phrase: ‘Because you’re worth it,’ so to be given that opportunity is absolutely amazing.”

The Girls Aloud star and wife of footballer Ashley Cole topped a poll conducted by www.sportingfix.com, asking men to voted for the star they most like to fantasise about jumping up and down in a cheerleader outfit waving pom-poms.

Curvaceous Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson was sixth, followed by the equally-shapely Rachel Stevens and then glamour model Katie Price in eighth place.

Fearne Cotton was 10th, followed by former Hollyoaks baby Gemma Atkinson, glamour model Danielle Lloyd, actress Sienna Miller and singer Alesha Dixon was voted 14th.
