Carrie Underwood says, “I do my grocery shopping kinda late at night when there’s nobody really there. (I) wash the make-up off… and I’m in a ponytail, glasses, my sweatpants.”

The 25-year-old singer, who once romanced Jessica Simpson’s boyfriend Tony Romo, has been seeing the 36-year-old medic and former Bachelor star for seven months, after meeting him in 2006, claims the National Enquirer.
A source tells the tabloid, “Carrie and Travis quickly developed a long-distance phone and text-message relationship.
“They’ve kept the romance under the radar, but Carrie’s been telling friends that it feels like they’ve known each other forever.
“They are so sure of their feelings that they’re already talking about settling down together.”

The American Idol winner opens up in Allure’s September issue about dating Dallas Cowboys player Tony Romo, Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford and a boyfriend who cheated on her in college.

“We were both small-town people doing very big things, and we relied on each other, dealing with fame,” she says of Romo. “I don’t know. The phone will ring and it’ll be him, and I’ll maybe not answer.”

On her recent split with Crawford, she explains: “We didn’t have a fight. No one cheated. It plain didn’t work.”

One of her relationships from her days at Oklahoma’s Northeastern State University could have inspired her hit “Before He Cheats.”

“I don’t want to name names, even though he probably deserves it, but he fooled around,” she says. “Oh, yeah – And lied.”

Carrie Underwood says it’s difficult to find friends she can trust – and guys who like her for the right reasons.

“You never really know why somebody wants to be around you, or if they do genuinely like you,” she says. “I wish everyone had a label on their forehead so you could automatically tell their intentions. Sometimes you just wish that no one wanted anything from you.”

The poll released today finds that this seasons most over rated contestant on the show is none other than Jason Castro, who was recently voted off the show.

The poll finds the remaining contestants, David Archuleta, 17, and David Cook, 25, neck and neck when it comes to who fans think will win this years show.

35 percent of fans thought that David Archuleta’s version of John Lennon’s “Imagine” was the overall best performance this year, a number that was tied by Cooks version of Michael Jackson’s hit “Billie Jean.”

Carrie Underwood, who has been linked to such famous men as football star Tony Romo and Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford, says she’s experienced heartbreak at the hands of an unfaithful boyfriend – but remains mum on the culprit.

“I’ve been cheated on a time or two. It’s tough,” she tells InStyle in the May issue, on newsstands Friday. “I wouldn’t recommend doing any property damage, though,” she laughs, a reference to her Grammy-winning song “Before He Cheats” about a woman who trashes her boyfriend’s truck.

“Now I’m to the point where you get one shot. Life’s too short,” adds the Season 4 American Idol champ, who says that dessert is one way she heals from heartache.

“I’m a ‘let it go, move on’ kind of person. And ice cream is my friend. If anybody sees me eating a sundae and I look unhappy, something bad has happened,” Underwood tells the magazine. “I am drowning my sorrows in fudge and caramel and whipped cream.”

The singer also admits that she struggles with body image.“I think about what I look like probably more than I should. But I think everybody is her own worst critic,” she says. “Some days I step out of the shower, put my lotion on, and I’ll be like ‘Ugh, ew, ew.’ “

She rarely goes out without makeup and keeps a food diary: “I’m OCD like that,” Underwood admits. “I count calories, fat and fiber – which is important in making you feel fuller faster – and protein, especially when I’m working out.”

Why is she so strict with herself? “If I put on five pounds, it’s noticed immediately,” says Underwood.

Still, she says, “I’m content with 90 percent of me. I like my teeth. Sometimes I wonder if my orthodontist realizes how important he was.”

“I was only up for two [Grammys], but yeah, I vote for myself often,” the blonde said backstage at the event. “I have no shame. I pay to be a member.”

Underwood said picking up her latest Grammy has been another exciting moment on her rise to fame since winning “American Idol.”

“I think it’s all been such a whirlwind,” she said. “It started so quickly and it’s never slowed down — it’s amazing to think I ever ended up here, I don’t know how it happened. But I’m glad.”

In fact, Underwood got a chance to revisit with some people from her past – “Idol” judges Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson, who she ran into the evening before the Grammys.

“I actually saw Randy and Paula last night at Clive Davis’ party,” she said. “They’re just so happy to see us. We’re just kids — when we’re starting out and we just blossom and mature.”

Having blossomed herself, all the way to a major co-headlining U.S. trek with Keith Urban, Underwood said she has some advice for the next crop of “Idol” contenders?

“The main thing I say is don’t take anything for granted,” she said. “People can forget why they’re in it and it’s ’cause they love music and this is what they always wanted to do. Don’t burn bridges.”

In 2007, Underwood was the good girl who picked up a host of Grammys. Backstage, when she was asked about the six wins by troubled British chanteuse Amy Winehouse this year, Underwood said she had nothing but praise for the star.

“I think Amy Winehouse is a very talented artist. No matter what’s happening in her personal life, she’s very talented and very creative and definitely deserves accolades,” Underwood said.

Over the last year or so Carrie Underwood has lost a significant amount of weight. She credits this change to keeping a detailed log of her food intake on a daily basis.

During an interview with Glamour Magazine, Carrie said that the log along with cardio and no meat helps her remain healthy.

“I’m slightly obsessive-compulsive about what I eat, more than I should be. I write down everything I eat,” the American Idol, 24, champ dishes in Glamour magazine’s January issue. “I started doing it last year. And in the last year is when I’ve gotten more healthy and lost weight.”

What does she eat? Well, no meat. She’s been a vegetarian since age 13. (Listen up, Chace Crawford: “I don’t think I could kiss someone after they ate a hamburger ’cause they would probably taste like it, and that would gross me out,” she tells Glamour.)

Underwood also says she she enjoys cardio and “that big exercise ball.”
