Bruce Willis is the latest celeb to receive an injury on a movie set.

Bruce apparently received a painful kick to the forehead on Wednesday while shooting a fight scene for the latest Die Hard instalment.

Having taken the brunt of the kick just above his right eye, the 51-year-old actor was seen by a doctor before being sent home for the rest of the day to recuperate, Fox Studios confirmed.

A representative told Access Hollywood that the injury was “no big deal” for the action star and that Bruce returned to the Live Free Or Die Hard set the following morning.

Actor Timothy Olyphant, who was Bruce’s sparring partner in the scene, was out and about promoting his most recent film Catch And Release and jokingly told reporters that his message to Bruce was “toughen up”.

Bruce isn’t the only star to suffer injuries on set.

Nicole Kidman was recently taken to hospital after the Jaguar she was driving crashed during shooting of the science fiction thriller The Invasion.

Halle Berry broke her right arm while filming the 2003 thriller Gothika and Russell Crowe admitted that he suffered a dislocated shoulder during training for 2005’s Cinderella Man. Even action stalwart Tom Cruise separated six ribs during his stunt work for last year’s Mission: Impossible III.
