In Manhattan, the lawyer Liv (Kate Hudson) and the school teacher Emma (Anne Hathaway)have been best friends since their childhood. They both are proposed to by their boyfriends on the same day and they plan their wedding parties in Plaza Hotel, using the services of the famous Marion St. Claire. However, due to Marion’s secretary’s mistake, their weddings are scheduled for the same day. None of them agrees to change the date and they become enemies, trying to sabotage the wedding party of the rival.

A new picture of Anne Hathaway as The White Queen from Tim Burton’s upcoming Alice in Wonderland has surfaced.

Emma (Anne Hathaway) and Liv (Kate Hudson) started a scrapbook box of wedding items including the barrette and even practiced getting married in their attic with Liv alway acting as the bride. It then moves to present day where they are both 26.

Liv and Emma are shown at a wedding of a friend with their respective boyfriends Daniel (Steve Howey) and Fletcher (Chris Pratt). At the wedding they critique it and say how they would change it and then go after the bouquet and a screen shot shows their intensity of trying to get it.

Contac Music reported, Anne Hathaway has championed Scarlett Johansson and Beyonce Knowles for their curvy figures, praising the pair as good role models for youngsters.
The Devil Wears Prada star has recently been lambasted for being too skinny, although the 27-year-old is adamant she is a “normal shape”.
And Hathaway has hailed Johansson, Knowles, and fellow actress Reese Witherspoon for projecting healthy body images in a world where super-slim is often seen as an ideal.
She says, “I don’t think it’s just Hollywood that gives out that message. As a society we put out these unrealistic body images to young women.
“But I’m a normal shape and Scarlett Johansson is not a skinny, skinny girl. Beyonce Knowles looks after herself and has a beautiful body. Reese Witherspoon looks great.”

Anne Hathaway’s dog was left nonplussed by its owner’s Oscar nomination.

The actress was at home with her pooch when she learnt she had been shortlisted for a coveted gong.

As she and her parents celebrated, her dog looked on bemused, she told entertainment website HollyScoop.com

She said: “I was with my parents and my dog when I got the news and we were all overjoyed – although I’m not sure my dog knew what was going on.”

Anne has been nominated in the actress in a leading role category for her role in Rachel Getting Married.

She is up against Angelina Jolie, Melissa Leo, Meryl Streep, and Golden Globe winner Kate Winslet.

Anne said: “It is such a thrill to be recognised in this category with these remarkably talented women.

“This is a great day to be an actress.”

It is the first time that the 26-year-old actress has been nominated for an Academy Award.

Anne Hathaway, who is generating buzz for her performance in “Rachel Getting Married,” has signed for a role in “Alice in Wonderland,” which Tim Burton is directing for Disney, according to source

Hathaway starred as Agent 99 in “Get Smart,” and next appears in the horror thriller “Passengers.” “Rachel Getting Married,” an acclaimed drama in which Hathaway’s character disrupts her sister’s wedding, opened promisingly in limited release last weekend.

Carter, along with Depp, was seen last year in Burton’s “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.”

‘Get Smart’ is a spy comedy drama which sees Steve Carrell star alongside Anne as a pair of agents trying to thwart evil crime nemesis known as KAOS. It is released in European cinemas from the end of August.

Anne Hathaway wasn’t the least bit taken aback when her Brokeback Mountain co-star Jake Gyllenhaal asked if he could get more intimate with her onscreen – because he wanted the shot to look real.

Hathaway, in an interview with radio station Heart revealed that like most male stars, Gyllenhaal had wanted to make their love scene in the movie as real as possible.

“Sometimes you work with actors, and they can be lovely guys, but they have kind of dodgy instincts when it comes to kissing in scenes. They want to try to make it look a bit too real if you know what I mean,” The Sun quoted her, telling the station.

“There was this scene in ‘Brokeback Mountain’ where I get my kit off and I’m in the car with Jake Gyllenhaal and he’s touched my shoulder and he’s touched my stomach and he’s touched around my back. Everywhere except for, you know, ‘the girls’.

“I just turned to him and said: ‘It’s okay Jake, yes, you can touch my boobs,’” she said.

However, one actor with whom she had a far different experience was her Becoming Jane co-star James McAvoy.
