Alessandra Ambrosio, the Victoria’s Secret model has given birth to a baby girl, her first child with longtime boyfriend Jamie Mazur.
Ambrosio, 27, gave birth to little Anja Louise Ambrosio Mazur on Sunday (24Aug08) in her native Brazil.
She says in a statement: “To all of our family and friends, we are pleased to announce that our little princess Anja Louise Ambrosio Mazur was born on Sunday August 24 at 7:32 p.m. She is 6.3 pounds (2.86 kilograms) and absolutely perfect.
“She hasn’t cried once except for a second when they pulled her out. We have now felt a new kind of love and joy that we never knew existed.”
And the Brazilian beauty, who continued modelling throughout her pregnancy, insists she has no plans of slowing down her busy schedule - Ambrosio plans to be catwalk-ready for November’s (08) Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Alessandra Ambrosio, 27, had every bit of the pregnancy-glow about her as she and boyfriend Jamie Mazur celebrated the upcoming arrival of their first child with a baby shower in Los Angeles, CA on Monday, June 2nd. Close friends and family, including actress Tatiana Fontes were in attendance, and brought along gifts topped with yellow, green and pink ribbons. Alessandra Ambrosio baby is expected to arrive in late summer/early fall.

Alessandra Ambrosio attended the Dolce & Gabbana party at the Grammercy Park Hotel in New York Tuesday, December 4, night. The event was held to mark the brand’s latest boutique on Madison Avenue and the launch of its new men’s fragrance campaign.

The 26-year-old Brazilian supermodel looked ‘angelic’ in a white strapless mini dress with a silver sequined banded waist showing a lot of her well toned legs. An exquisite white knit wool jacket with fur added to her allure even if it didn’t keep her very warm.
