Girl next door Carrie Underwood is showing her sassy side — with this sexy cover of Cosmopolitan. The pop-country sensation takes her beautiful image up a notch in the March issue, posing for the glossy in a red-hot Rebecca Taylor dress that zips up the front.
The issue gives us a glimpse into this very private, very modest girl next door. “An Oklahoma girl like me wouldn’t even know how to be a diva,” she explains. “I’m just a person who has a cool job. I love to be at home. I rarely go to clubs…and I always wear underwear! I just know I’d fall down, and that’s not for everyone to see.”
The singer — who recently announced her engagement to hockey star Mike Fisher — says she’s glad she’s getting married because she doesn’t want to grow old alone.
“I didn’t want to be one of those people who has an amazing career but ends up alone and unhappy,” Underwood says in the March issue of Cosmopolitan magazine.
“I want to be happy. I want it all.”
Underwood recently revealed that she wants low-key wedding day.
“I started tearing out pictures and stuff,” she said last month. “I think I want a small wedding, but I don’t think that’s going to happen.”
