The Before He Cheats singer, Carrie Underwood escapes the public when she’s grocery shopping – by hitting her local supermarket at midnight.

Carrie Underwood says, “I do my grocery shopping kinda late at night when there’s nobody really there. (I) wash the make-up off… and I’m in a ponytail, glasses, my sweatpants.”

And when she does get recognised, people can’t believe she’s Carrie Underwood.
She adds, “People won’t tell me, ‘Are you Carrie Underwood?’ They’ll say, ‘Wow, you look like Carrie Underwood’.”
