People.com is reporting that Britney Spears will return to How I Met Your Mother for one more episode.

“The show is ecstatic and so is Britney,” a source tells People.com. “She had so much fun the first time around she really wanted to come back. It was a mutual decision to work together more.”

The Toxic star, 26, will do just the one episode, the source says. Fox studios would not confirm the appearance.

Britney’s first appearance on March 24, as a receptionist at a dermatologist’s office romantically pursuing the show’s lead character, Josh Radnor, fetched the show its highest rating ever.

The show which averaged 10.7 million viewers, up from previous week’s 9.7 million, was the fourth highest rated show of the evening.
