Beyonce Knowles proved she has the Midas touch with her appearance on hit U.K. TV talent show The X Factor – the contestant she collaborated with won the $1.5 million prize.
The Crazy In Love hitmaker thrilled British fans when she performed on the show with Alexandra Burke in the series finale in London on Saturday.
Beyonce Knowles joined a stunned Burke onstage and blew the audience away with a rendition of Listen – a track she sang in hit 2006 movie Dreamgirls.
And it seemed the appearance worked for the 20-year-old contestant – she was crowned 2008’s X Factor winner just hours after her performance with Knowles.
Burke will follow in the footsteps of former winner Leona Lewis – she has received a $1.5 million record deal and a management contract with the show’s judge Simon Cowell.
Beyonce Knowles, who reportedly scooped $1.5 million for the appearance – also performed a rock version of her worldwide smash If I Was A Boy.
