Kylie Minogue to battle Britney Spears

Kylie Minogue is all set to release her new single – but has some unexpected competition from Britney Spears.

Both singers have chosen 12 November to start their assault on the charts and will go head-to-head in a battle for the No 1 spot.

But 39-year-old Kylie’s new record Hearts is expected to be a storming success, while Brit’s performance of Gimme More at the MTV Video Awards was less than impressive.
