The first pictures of Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz’ romantic marriage ceremony have been published.
The couple tied the knot in a Gothic-themed ceremony at Ashlee’s parents’ home in California on Saturday.
But the bride stuck to a more traditional look for her outfit, wearing an ivory lace gown by Monique Lhuillier with a cathedral-length veil.
Pete, 28, bassist for Fall Out Boy, dressed in a Dior Homme tuxedo and bow tie.
Ashlee’s dad Joe Simpson officiated at the ceremony – and her pet dog was a ring bearer.
Big sister Jessica Simpson attended with her on-off boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys star Tony Romo.
Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz’s weekend wedding may have looked like the ultimate rocker event – complete with 10,000 black magic roses, red-and-black décor and chandeliers dripping with crystals – but for the couple and their 150 guests, it felt more like a sweet fairy tale, PEOPLE reveals in its new issue.
“She looked like a girl right out of a movie,” the groom, 28, says about his new bride, 23, who wore an ivory lace Monique Lhuillier gown and a cathedral-length veil during the nondenominational ceremony officiated by her father, Joe Simpson.
