Comedian Eddie Murphy claims to have split with former Spice Girl Mel B and says the baby she is carrying may not even be his.
The Hollywood star made the admission during a TV interview to promote his new film Dreamgirls.
When asked if he was looking forward to becoming a father again he said:
“You’re being presumptuous, because we’re not together any more and we don’t know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test.
“You shouldn’t jump to conclusions, sir.”
The couple are believed to have started dating in June, just two months after Murphy split from his wife of 12 years, Nicole.
Mel, who relocated to LA last year, is thought to be five months’ pregnant with his child.
Scary Spice already has a seven-year-old daughter, Phoenix Chi, from her previous marriage to dancer Jimmy Gulzar.
Eddie is father to seven children.
