Contac Music reported, Anne Hathaway has championed Scarlett Johansson and Beyonce Knowles for their curvy figures, praising the pair as good role models for youngsters.
The Devil Wears Prada star has recently been lambasted for being too skinny, although the 27-year-old is adamant she is a “normal shape”.
And Hathaway has hailed Johansson, Knowles, and fellow actress Reese Witherspoon for projecting healthy body images in a world where super-slim is often seen as an ideal.
She says, “I don’t think it’s just Hollywood that gives out that message. As a society we put out these unrealistic body images to young women.
“But I’m a normal shape and Scarlett Johansson is not a skinny, skinny girl. Beyonce Knowles looks after herself and has a beautiful body. Reese Witherspoon looks great.”
