Hayden Panettiere was furious that she wasn’t given enough stunts to perform as part of her role in Heroes.

The actress - who plays Claire Bennet on the hit NBC series - has now been given a smashing new action scene.

“I dived out of a window at the end of the first season of Heroes and I was desperate to do it again.

“In the end I bugged everyone enough for them to let me do it. I love doing stunts and jumping through a window is not a stunt I’m unfamiliar with. It’s a lot of fun.”

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz welcomed a baby boy.

Bronx Mowgli Wentz was born Thursday evening, weighing 7 lbs., 11 oz., and measuring 20 1/2 inches long.

“Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!” a spokesman said, according to People magazine.

Simpson-Wentz, 24, and the Fall Out Boy bassist, 29, announced her pregnancy in May, a few weeks after their Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland-themed wedding.

The Web site says Mowgli is a character who originally appeared in Rudyard Kipling’s short story “In the Rukh” and then went on to become the most prominent and memorable character in “The Jungle Book.”

Kylie Minogue is preparing for her Middle East debut as the headline act at the lavish opening of an exclusive Dubai hotel.
Making her red-carpet entrance to reportedly the most expensive private party ever staged - a $35 million soiree at Atlantis, The Palm - Minogue confessed to a few pre-performance nerves.

“I am nervous,” Minogue told Sky News.

Wearing a pretty black and pink floral dress with shoe-string straps and her hair in a soft, wavy bob, Minogue said she would perform a specially crafted set list, different to that of her current KylieX2008 world tour.

“I’m hoping that I’m not so programmed that I’ll go into totally the wrong song,” she said.

Minogue admitted to being blown away by her luxurious surroundings.

“I’ve never been here before,” she said.

“I spoke to a few people before coming here, saying in general conversation that I’m going to Dubai, and it seemed to be a bit of a buzz-word, a lot of people were talking about it and no one could really explain it.

“It’s really staggering. The airport - my God - the airport - marble floor and glittering columns. I guess more is more here and they’ve done a great job.”

British media reported in September that Minogue would receive $4.4 million to entertain the 2000 guests at the opening of the hotel on the man-made island of Palm Jumeirah.

Also on the invite list were Charlize Theron, Sarah, Duchess of York, Agyness Deyn, Dame Shirley Bassey, Robert De Niro, Janet Jackson, the Dubai Royal Family and Lily Allen.

Atlantis is a 1,539 room, ocean-themed resort located at the centre of the crescent of the man-made Palm Jumeirah island, costing 1.5 billion dollars.
