Britney Spears is eying a career in comedy following her successful skit at the MTV Video Music Awards, according to reports.

The Toxic hitmaker has apparently been “bitten by the comedy bug” after her slot on How I met Your Mother and opening the VMAs with Jonah Hill proved so popular.

And TV bosses are fighting over booking the star.

A source says, “Britney had a great time filming the trailer for the VMAs with Russell Brand.

“She is getting phone calls non-stop so she is more than likely to get her wish. It would really put the icing on the cake for her as far as her comeback goes.”

Justin Timberlake recently reveals that he is working on a new song in collaboration with Beyonce Knowles. “I’ll be in the studio this week with Beyonce. Who knows what will come out of that,” Justin says in a statement.

Furthermore, Justin says that the collaboration is to follow up their duet at the Fashion Rocks concert where he and Beyonce performed Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell’s classic single called “Ain’t Nothing Like The Real Thing”. Unfortunately, the “Sexyback” singer doesn’t give any further explanation regarding the joint force.
